Four Day Event
The Class of Courage invitation-only Four Day Event is a powerful experience designed to open up a world of possibilities, free from the normal limitations that we, or indeed others, place upon us.
During the programme I will offer you new perspectives that challenge the way you think about life and get you to take personal responsibility for what you want to achieve. We will be taking action, no matter how big or small, throughout this journey – a journey without excuses or cop-outs. This programme will be valuable if you are ready to explore the real deep and meaningful stuff by confronting and exploring these challenges head-on.
What does it aim to do?
The Four Day Event is about creating a vibrant group that offers a safe environment for you to share your innermost fears and challenges in order to progress in the next chapter of your life. It provides an important opportunity to become part of a community that will learn, challenge and support each other as you each work towards a life filled with possibility and excitement.
What to expect from the journey
Over the course of our journey you will experience a number of challenges that will become a source of great motivation. You will not allow your disability or health condition to control how you live your life but start to see that you are free to have the courage to choose.
You will begin to take a much more creative approach to your day-to-day living that requires you to feel vulnerable, adaptive and courageous. You will confront your challenges and look deep within yourselves as opposed to blaming or placing responsibility on external factors.

How is it delivered?
The content of the programme will be delivered by me, Ian Guyah-Low, and I will draw upon my own personal experience of being a 26-year-old aspiring athlete diagnosed with heart disease as well as my coaching background. The programme will also contain personal accounts from the wider Class of Courage community, top quality speakers and the latest research.
You will complete the programme feeling more courageous, inspired and hopeful of leading a more fulfilling, balanced and successful life.
“Does what’s happened keep you from acting with justice, generosity, self-control, sanity, prudence, honesty, humility, straightforwardness, and all other qualities that allow a person’s nature to fulfil itself? So remember this principle when something threatens to cause you pain: the thing itself was no misfortune at all; to endure it and prevail is great good fortune.”
— Marcus Aurelius, Meditations.
